Rob Mitchell...

Rob Mitchell first became interested in pottery through his studies at Saint Johns River Community College in Palatka, Florida in the late 60’s.

Famed Florida potter Charlie Brown was an influence at that time, and though Rob maintained a fascination with pottery, he spent the next 23 years working as a firefighter and EMT for the city of Orlando, only dabbling in pottery throughout those years.

After his retirement in 1993, he turned his full attention to pottery once again, working as a studio assistant and learning through his association with several professional potters.
